Ronen was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz along with his partner Karina (53) and their daughters Mika (18) and Yuval (11). A few days after his partner and daughters were released and returned home, his family was informed of his murder while in captivity.
He was an optimist with a constant smile, who worked in photojournalism.
