His body was returned to Israel after 183 days during a rescue operation by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency.<br \/>Elad was involved in public relations, in addition to being a farmer and a big fan of Maccabi Haifa. He was a social activist who supported the campaign for the release of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, of blessed
