כשהנאצים כבשו את בלגיה, הוריה של בינה ואחותה הגדולה נשלחו למחנות עבודה והשמדה ונרצחו שם. בינה הקטנה ניצלה בזכות אנשי המחתרת הבלגית, שהחביאו אותה עם ילדים נוספים. הם העבירו אותם ממקום למקום, מטירות עתיקות, בתי יתומים מנזרים וחוות, כדי שלא ייתפסו על ידי הנאצים.
לאחר המלחמה הצטרפה בינה לקבוצת הכשרה שרצתה לעלות לארץ, ולאחר קום המדינה עלתה לישראל. בינה למדה בירושלים, הוכשרה כאחות, ושירתה בצה"ל בחיל הרפואה. כיום היא רווה נחת מ-2 בניה ו-7 נכדיה ומתרגשת לקראת לידת נינתה הראשונה. בנוסף לאהבתה למשפחה, בינה אוהבת שוקולד, בכל זאת, היא ילידת בלגיה, ואת הצבע הסגול.

When the Nazis conquered Belgium, Bina’s parents and older sister were sent to labor camps and death camps where they were murdered. Little Bina was saved by people from the Belgian underground, who hid her with other children. They were moved from place to place, through old castles, orphanages, convents and farms, to avoid capture by the Nazis.
After the war, Bina joined an agricultural training group that wanted to immigrate to Israel, and after the establishment of the State she came on Aliyah. Bina studied in Jerusalem, trained as a nurse and served in the IDF Medical Corps. Today she gets pleasure from her 2 sons and 7 grandchildren, and its excited about the birth of her first grandchild. In addition to her family, Bina loves chocolate, well she is from Belgium, and the color purple.
