"שמי דינה פלד לבית שנפ, הוריי גרו בעיר וי'זניץ. באוקטובר 1941 הם הוגלו למורפה ונשלחו לגטו שבטרנסניסטריה, שם נולדתי. חיינו בתנאים קשים ולא אנושיים, בקור, בלי אוכל, סבלנו ממחלות, וגרנו עם שניים־עשר אנשים בחדר אחד. אף אחד לא הבין איך שרדתי.
כשהרוסים שחררו את המחנה ב-1944 הייתי בת שנתיים וחצי. משם התגלגלנו לרומניה וב-1963 עלינו לארץ. למרות ההתחלה הקשה, התחתנתי עם יצחק, שהיה חברי הטוב, הקמנו משפחה. יש לנו 2 בנות ו-7 נכדים. זה הניצחון שלי, אנחנו חיים בארץ שלנו, בעיר הבירה, עם המשפחה היפה שלנו."

“My name is Dina Peled, born Shnaff. My parents lived in Vizhnitz. In October 1941 they were exiled to Murafa and sent to the ghetto in Transnistria, and there I was born. We lived in terrible inhuman conditions, cold, without food, we suffered diseases and we lived with twelve people in one room. Nobody can understand how we survived.
When the Russians liberated the camp in 1944 I was two and a half years old. From there we somehow got to Romania, and we immigrated to Israel in 1963. In spite of the difficult beginning, I married Yitzhak, who was my good friend, and we started a family. We have 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren. That’s my victory. We live in our country, in the capital, with our lovely family.”
