"נולדתי לאימי טבה, שהייתה עוזרת בית, ולאבי פנחס, שייצר מצבות. כשפרצה המלחמה אבי נלקח למחנות עבודה ועל אימי הלשינו, ולכן הגרמנים לקחו גם אותה. אחי מרדכי ואני נותרנו עם סבתא. ריכזו אותנו בגטו שבעיר, שעליו הגן הצלב האדום. סבתי בקושי תפקדה, ולכן אחי, שהיה אז בן שבע, נאלץ לדאוג לנו.
אימא נספתה בצעדת המוות, אך אבא הצליח להינצל ממחנות העבודה. כשהמלחמה הסתיימה הוא התחתן עם לאה, שאיבדה את בעלה ובתה, ונותרה רק עם בנה, שמואל, כך התאחדנו למשפחה חדשה. בדצמבר 1951 עלינו לארץ והתיישבנו בירושלים.
בשנת 1963 התחתנתי עם יוסי והקמנו משפחה – 3 ילדים וגם נכדים ונינים. יוסי ניצל ממחנה ההשמדה אושוויץ, ולימים היה עד במשפט אייכמן. כיום, איני חשה כניצולת שואה, אלא כבת מזל."

“My mother Tova was a house cleaner and my father Pinchas made gravestones. When the war broke out, my father was taken to a forced labor camp and they informed on my mother, so the Germans also took her. My brother Mordechai and I remained with Grandma. We were all sent to the town ghetto which was protected by the Red Cross. My grandmother could barely function, so my brother, who was seven, had to take care of us.
Mother died on the death march, but father managed to survive the labor camp. When the war ended he married Leah, who lost her husband and daughter and was left with only her son, Shmuel. So we united as a new family, and in December 1951 we immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem.
In 1963 I married Yossi and we started our own family – 3 children, with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Yossi was saved from Auschwitz death camp, and eventually gave evidence at the Eichmann trial. Today I don’t feel like a Holocaust survivor, but like a lucky woman.”
