The Friends of Zion Media Center staged a fantastic ‘Brazilian Carnaval’ event for a group of Holocaust survivors and Border Police personnel. They listened to Brazilian music, danced the samba, and were entertained by a pair of capoeira dancers. In addition, we were delighted to welcome the Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Dr. Nachman Shai, who addressed the audience and announced the exciting news that Michael Evans II, the son of FOZ Founder Dr. Mike Evans, had officially assumed the role of President of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center. Thank you to everyone who came out, and we hope to continue celebrating together for many years to come!
