Ofir Tzarfati, 27, of blessed memory
Ofir was celebrating his birthday at the Nova Festival with his partner Shoval. He saved Shoval, but was kidnapped. He went to celebrate his 27th birthday. His partner recounted, “When the rocket fire started, we got into the car, but there was the noise of gunfire and we saw a river of people running, so we got out of the vehicle. Itay and Ofir were with another friend. Ofir encouraged us, kept us safe. In fact, thanks to him, we survived. We continued walking towards the Moshav Patish, and then some vehicles arrived, and everyone rushed to them. Ofir tried to get into the trunk but couldn’t”.
On November 30th, his family was informed of his murder, and his body was returned from Gaza in an IDF operation.
Ofir was an electrical engineering student at Ariel University, a big fan of Maccabi Haifa, and has raised his beloved dog, Tai, for 12 years.
