Ofra Keidar, 70, of blessed memory

Ofra was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Be’eri. During a phone call with her son on the morning of the “Black Sabbath”, she was heard screaming and trying to escape from the terrorists who were shooting at her. At some point, she also told him she was injured. Her partner, Sami, who had Parkinson’s disease was murdered in their home. On December 1st, her family was informed of her murder, her body is being held by Hamas.
Ofra worked for 20 years at the calf-rearing facility, which was later closed. She then began working at the petting zoo, where she worked until her last dayshe was taken hostage. Her afternoons were always devoted to her grandchildren.
