The Friends of Zion Museum was honored to welcome a group from Guatemala for a visit. Ambassador Julissa Anzueto Aguilar – The Guatemalan Ambassador to Israel, Rabbi Yosef Garmon, and Pastor David Herrera were all part of the group.
Pastor David Herrera is responsible for having 34 streets in Guatemala renamed “Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel.” Pastor Herrera is active in many humanitarian and pro-Israel projects in Guatemala. He is also a strong supporter of Israel.
The Medallion of Jerusalem was presented to Pastor Herrera in appreciation of his time and effort in advocating for the State of Israel. Gracias por todo, Pastor, Embajadora, y Rabino!
