Yossi Sharabi, 52, of blessed memory
Yossi was kidnapped to Gaza with Ofir Engel (16), the partner of his daughter Yuval. His wife and daughters watched in horror as the terrorists forced them into a car. On January 16th, 2024, his family was informed of his murder in captivity.
Nira, Yossi’s wife, recounted: “We were in the fortified room when three terrorists entered the apartment, they spoke Arabic. The girls hid under the blanket, and Yossi was guarding the door of the fortified room. After ten seconds, the door was opened, and they burst in with their weapons drawn. When we reached the road, the terrorists gathered us together, we were ten people, several families. They shouted at my husband Yossi and Ofir to get into a vehicle that was there. They got into the vehicle and drove away”.
