Carmel Gat, 39, of blessed memory

Carmel was kidnapped to Gaza during the brutal attack on Kibbutz Be’eri. Her mother was murdered by Hamas, and her sister-in-law, Yarden Roman Gat (36), was kidnapped with her. She was the sister of Alon, who managed to escape from the captors with his young daughter. Her mother, Kinneret, was murdered. Her father saw through a crack that his daughter was being kidnapped by the terrorists. On September 1st, 2024, it was revealed that that Carmel was murdered in captivity.
Carmel was an occupational therapist. A few days before the “Black Sabbath”, she returned from a several-month trip to India.
