The annual conference dinner of Israel Allies was held at our Media Center. Over one hundred participants, including parliamentarians, representatives of NGOs, Christian and Jewish leaders, gathered for a special dinner. The keynote speaker for the evening was Yuli Edelstein, co-chair of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and a member of the Knesset.
Among the many participants, we can count Parliamentary representatives of about 25 states, such as Brazil (Deputy Geovania de Sa), Sweden (Magnus Berntsson MP), Czech Republic (Miloslav Janulik MP), Romania (Ben-Oni Ardelean MP), Costa Rica (Deputy Fabricio Alvarado), Liberia (Moima Briggs Mensah MP) and many others.
The main purpose of the event was to show the much-needed support of the Jewish State and its right to defend itself against aggression. One of the most touching moments of the event was Rachel Goldberg’s speech, she’s the mother of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American-Jewish youngster abducted to Gaza and held in captivity for 150 days today.
During the ceremony, the Parliamentary representatives of the different states were awarded our “Jerusalem Award” for their unconditional support of Israel.
