The Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem hosted a historic event welcoming the new U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. The ceremony was initiated by FOZ founder Dr. Mike Evans.
The event featured emotional appearances by Omer Shem Tov, recently freed after 505 days in Hamas captivity, and his parents Shelly and Boaz Shem Tov, as well as Ilan and Meirav Gilboa Dalal, the parents of Guy Gilboa Dalal, who remains a hostage in Gaza.
“Without the Jewish people, I don’t have faith” said Ambassador Huckabee at the event: “I have nothing. No greater honor could be bestowed upon me than to be called a friend of the Jewish people.”
Dr. Mike Evans added: “Mike Huckabee, we as Evangelicals are so extremely happy that one of ours, an Evangelical, is now the Ambassador of Israel.”
It was an unforgettable night of unity, faith, and support for Israel.
