We were honored to welcome Ambassador Dr. Laralyn Riverwind and Chief Joseph Riverwind – distinguished Native American leaders – to the Friends of Zion Museum. Representing their tribes, the Riverwinds came to Israel to stand in solidarity with the Jewish people, leading healing and resilience workshops for IDF soldiers, Holocaust survivors, Druze communities, and citizens coping with trauma.
The closing event of their journey in Israel took place at the Friends of Zion Museum’s event hall, offering participants a glimpse into their healing traditions and storytelling. The evening culminated with the presentation of a certificate, signed by their tribal chief, affirming support for Israel and the Jewish people and recognizing the Native Embassy in Jerusalem.
